Sheila Shanker, CPA

Sheila Shanker, originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is a CPA with many years of experience. Based in Culver City, Sheila has worked in many areas, such as accounting, systems implementations, internal controls, management, training and teaching.  Her book, "Guide to Non-profits  From the Trenches," has received great reviews at Amazon.com.

An accomplished consultant, Sheila has helped many firms, such as Northrop Grumman, TCI Metals, Colburn School of Music, Grosh Scenic Rentals, Sony Pictures, and Kaiser Permanente.  She has also worked with Oracle Corp., Arthritis Foundation and Temple Israel of Hollywood.  Sheila develops and writes online self-study courses for CPAs and other professionals.  She also has conducted "live" workshops for CPAs about nonprofit accounting.
