Greater Stamford Area Chamber of Commerce

This e-mail is brought to you compliments of the
Greater Stamford Area Chamber of Commerce.

Maple Weekend (March 17 and 18 & 24 and 25) is about more than pancakes.  (Though the pancakes are great too!)  Get ready to celebrate with some sweet deals from our members!
  • Hobart Book Village - "M" is for maple and money-saving discounts!  15% off any book with a title or author containing a capital "M".  One discount per book & excludes some consignment or special reserve books.
  • La Basse Cour Farm, Store and Bed & Breakfast sells Shaver Hill Farm's maple syrup in their seasonal farm store.  They feature maple syrup with breakfast at the B & B, and sell many baked goods made with maple syrup (to order and in the farm store).  10% off your stay during Maple Weekend.
  • Shaver Hill Farm - All day pancake breakfast. Horse-drawn wagon rides. Tree tapping / boiling demonstrations. Samples. Maple cotton candy. Kids activities.
  • SunnyHill Summit Retreat -  $25/night discount on its vacation cottage rental during NYS Maple Weekends, March 17-18 and March 24-25. And to sweeten the deal, enjoy the famous pancake breakfast at Shaver Hill Farm in nearby Harpersfield on us! (breakfast coupons included in welcome package)
  • Tundra Brewery features "Ma-Pale" a pale ale flavored with the brewer's own maple syrup.

Our Events Calendar includes events from all over the greater Stamford area - and beyond.

RR Station

We want to take a moment to thank the Catskill Revitalization Corporation, the O'Connor Foundation, the Robinson-Broadhurst Foundation, and Western Catskills Community Revitalization Council, Inc. for their generosity and support of the Stamford Railroad Station.

Without it, we would not be able to open the building to the community and have events like the pop-up farmers' market.

But we need your support to operate the building as well, so we can do things like:  buy cleaning supplies, replace light bulbs, snow plowing (believe it or not) and just keep up with general building maintenance.  If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please get in touch with the Greater Stamford Area Trust.

And speaking of the Railroad Station:
