Notable Quote

"There is a need for help with clinics, OR and with teaching. All three of the consultant orthopedic surgeons seemed genuinely interested in their trainees and in furthering their education. The volunteer can, in my estimation, make a significant contribution. I felt that the trainees wanted to learn and I wanted to teach. This made for a thoroughly enjoyable volunteer rotation. One has a sense of accomplishment knowing that these trainees will go to different places in Tanzania and practice better orthopedics."
