The 2010 election is host to some very heated battles for State Senate seats.
There are contested races between Republicans Jack Brandenburg, Leon Drolet and
Kim Meltzer for one district, and Democrats Paul Gieleghem and Carl Marlinga in
another district. These are just some of the candidates that are participating

| 2010 Wheelin' Women Car Show!
 What a great time we had at this event! This years entertainment was"St. Clair Shores School of Rock"! The girls did a wonderful job. We look forward to having them perform again next year.

| 2nd Annual Eastpointe Lions Club Craft Show
Saturday August 7-Sunday August 8, Starting at Noon
Kennedy Park (Stephens and Schroeder in Eastpointe)
Runs concurrently with Eastpointe Lions Summerfest
Cost: Rental for 10x10 display space is $25.00 or $40.00 for both days. You need to supply all materials for your display, including tables, chairs, tents, etc. There is an additional fee of $5.00 for a
space with electricity and you will need to supply your own extension cord (These spots are available on a limited basis). NO REFUNDS
Schedule and Procedures: Set-up will be Saturday, August 7 from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. and Sunday, August 8 from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Summerfest runs from 12 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on
Saturday and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. You may choose to stay as long as you wish each day.
Liability: INDEMNITY AND HOLD HARMLESS: It is agreed that the vendor expressly releases the Eastpointe Lions and the City of Eastpointe from and agrees to indemnify the foregoing against all
claims for any and all loss, damage, or injury, including but not limited to attorneys fees and all cost. The vendor agrees to abide by the regulations set forth above and assume complete responsibility
for installing and handling their exhibit. Eastpointe Lions reserves the right to refuse merchandise or crafters of objectionable nature.
