2010 Art and Ice Festival
Art and Ice LogoEach year the Eastpointe Art and Ice Festival gets better and better!  This year we had live entertanment (School of Rock St. Clair Shores) (The Eddie King Band) (Allan Cyne), lots of East Detroit Student Art, Photo booth, Cookie Decorating and lots of hands on art. And the Ice Sculptures were just wonderful. Roy Calo owner of Creative Ice by Roy, out did himself this year.

"Meet Your Movin' Feet"
 

It's time for you to "Meet Your Movin' Feet"!!  Roseville Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce its' newest Parent/Tot movement to music class; beginning on Wednesday, February 3rd from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Roseville Recreation Center.  This weekly class is a drop-in program designed for children ages 2 - 5 years old and their parents.  Cost per class is $ 5.00.

Young Mentor Program

To make a difference in the life of young man waiting for a mentor!

Macomb County Michigan State University Extension ' s 4-H Youth Mentor program needs adult males to work one on one with youth, age 10-16, in Macomb County.

Sometimes you might help the child with his homework, other times you may simply decide to hang out together. We give you all the training you need, so all we ask is that you be yourself. When a kid sees you showing up for them once a week, it makes a difference. We also need you to commit for one year. These are kids who need stability in their lives...they need you!

This workshop will discuss the current economic situation in Macomb County and introduce strategies that communities can use to position themselves for success in the new economy.
