Two Added Lots
Here's a quick note just to let you know that we've published these added pages to our Sale Catalog. Click here to download a PDF of these Sale Sheets.
Here are two newly added lots - that's three more tested and Free animals to bring added Wagyu value to your herd: LMR MS ITOMICHI-4632 747T (selling with Heifer Calf 0130X) and LMR AKAHIGE 8119U (son of Itozurudoi TF151).
Final Sale Scratches
The Sale Lots listed below have been scratched from the sale for a variety of reasons (injuries, illness, pregnancy status, genetic testing results).
Forty outstanding Lots remain in the sale - all tested Free for abnormal genetics. Build your herd with tested and declared Free Lone Mountain Fullblood Wagyu.
We are publishing a list of scratched lots today so that you have the time to pick out a Free Lot to bolster your herd.
Scratched Lots
1; 3; 7; 11; 13; 17; 22; 23; 24; 41; 49; and 50. Only the embryos included with Lots 4; 8; and 10 have been scratched. Semen Lots 51 and 52 have been scratched.
In the interest of managing genetic disorders effectively, Lone Mountain has decided to eliminate all lots that are either Carriers or potential Carriers of F13 or B3 from the Sale.
Until the American Wagyu Association establishes a firm policy governing F11 and CHS, Lone Mountain will not sell any individuals that are Carriers or potential Carriers of those two conditions (F11 and CHS).
All semen samples submitted for testing (22 Semen Straws) failed to produce a result in the CL-16 test. This is highly unusual and could be attributed to the delay in transit. All samples have been resubmitted for testing. Since EMAI has produced only one CL-16 Carrier out of two hundred animals tested and since Lone Mountain's 61 hair samples produced zero Carriers - we feel confident that all 22 are Free. Therefore, Lone Mountain will offer a money-back guarantee on the few lots involved.
All of the 40 remaining Sale Lots are classified as Totally Free of all genetic abnormalities - except in the couple of CL-16 instances outlined in the Final Supplemental Sheet, to be issued by Jim Danekas, Sale Manager.
THESE CONDITIONS IN NO WAY IMPACT THE QUALITY OR HEALTHFULNESS OF WAGYU BEEF. ALL WAGYU BEEF IS SAFE AND HEALTHY TO EAT.
