2nd Annual Production Sale begins
Award-Winning Lot 4P
Our featured bull in next week's Production Sale, Bar R Sanjirou 4P has been named the Number 3 Marbling Sire in the Interim 2009 US Wagyu Sire Summary.

At 5 years of age, Bar R Sanjirou 4P is one of the youngest bulls to have progeny data and be placed in the US Wagyu Sire Summary.

It is extremely rare for anyone to have the opportunity to purchase a progeny proven bull that ranks this high in the US Wagyu Sire Summary.
 
Both BR Ms Takazakura 0652 and Bar R Ms Sanjirou 69P are pregnant. Buy the cow, get the calf too. And all future embryos and offspring will be split 50/50 between Lone Mountain and the buyer.

BR Ms Takazakura 0652 (due in June)

A flush to 0652 sold at 2008 Sale for $16,000 and produced 17 embryos for the buyer. A heifer pregnancy out of 0652 by Sanjirou sold for $10,500 and four of her embryos by Sanjirou sold for $10,000. BR Ms Takazakura 0652 produced 78 viable embryos in her last 2 flushing seasons (2006-2008). Out of these flushes, 0652 produced two 14-Star heifer calves both showing, in addition to the Marbling and Tenderness Markers - 8 out of 8 possible Feed Efficiency Stars - making those 2 calves perfect 22-Star animals.

Bar R Ms Sanjirou 69P (due on Sale Day!)

This 20-Star cow is the dam of 20-Star bull Takumi 703T - who sells as Lot #41. A heifer pregnancy out of 69P sold for $10,000 in 2008. 69P produced 29 viable embryos in her last 4 flushes. She is bred to Yoshiro 716T, producing a linebred Michifuku calf that will become the property of the buyer of this lot. Based on pedigree, Bar R Ms Sanjirou 69P ranks in the top 6% for Marbling according to 2009 Non-Parent Interim EPD's.
