Wallach Dental recently started sending patients emailed satisfaction surveys following their appointments.  It should take less than five minutes to complete the survey.  Patients are asked to rate dental services on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being "great."

 

The questions seek information related to the ease of getting an appointment or checking out, responsiveness and friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the office, and quality of service performed.

 

The feedback has mainly been positive and informative.  All the information is confidential and will be used to improve patient care and services.  There also is a section for written comments, for patients who wish to share more detailed suggestions.

 

Patients are encouraged to complete the surveys.  Based on your comments, the office could make changes to better accommodate patient needs and preferences.

 

 

Protective Thyroid Collar

 

When you get your dental X-rays at our office, you may notice a protective thyroid collar has been attached to the apron, to protect patients from radiation exposure.

Netflix and Pandora

  

Netflix videos are now being streamed for patients with longer appointments.  The office had previously offered a collection of DVDs, but Netflix offers more choices and newer movies.

 

For patients who prefer listening to music, we offer Pandora music streaming.  Patients can select their personal music favorites and listen to that music during their appointments.

Zoom! Teeth Whitening

  

The Zoom! professional teeth whitening treatment continues to deliver good results for patients. It has been used at our office for about nine months and patients have been very happy. 

 

It is a light-assisted procedure that takes about and hour and 45 minutes in the office. The cost is $375 and includes custom-made trays and an at-home whitening product.

 

 

Digital Impressions

  

The Lava Chairside Oral Scanner has been used successfully for two years to make digital impressions at Wallach Dental.  We were the first dental office in the St. Louis market to use this new technology.

 

Dental Assistants Liz Eilermann and Heather Ernst have become skilled at scanning teeth to get the necessary information. They said they wound never return to those gooey impressions. 

 

"The restorations fit so much better," Heather said. "People like to see their teeth on the screen," Liz said.
