Irene has been providing dental hygiene services for her patients for over 40 years. She will provide cleanings, x-rays, administer anesthetic when necessary.
Irene enjoys exercising, cooking, entertaining, travel and golf.

Liz Eilermann, dental assistant, has been performing in-office
bleaching procedures for patients who want more immediate results. In
about 90 minutes, patients can lighten their teeth by two or three
shades.
This is helpful for patients who want whiter teeth for a special event and don't have time to use whitening strips or trays - or they just want the convenience of rapid results.
"We can do it quicker because we use stronger, safe materials for an instant change," Liz said.

Wallach Dental Website We encourage our new or existing patients to visit the informative and expanded Wallach Dental website at www.wallachdental.com. The site is easily navigated and you'll be directed by a guide.
After you have logged into the site, existing patients can update personal contact information to save time and avoid the paperwork on their next visit. New patients also can fill out and send required forms, avoiding the clipboard and paperwork found at most offices.
Our new site allows you to schedule an appointment or communicate with office personnel, if you have questions regarding your next appointment or treatment plans.
Patients also can view their account information and past dental work from the last six months. Bills may also be paid online.
We invite you to take a virtual tour of our office and review the biographies of the dental office staff. A map and directions are included on the site to help you locate Wallach Dental.
Visitors to the site also are encouraged to read about the advanced technology currently used in our office, including:
► Digital radiography that uses less radiation and is environmentally friendly, with no film or toxic chemicals needed for development.
► The ShadeVision System that allows us to use digital technology to take the guess work out of tooth color matching.
► Diagnodent uses a laser to detect the smallest cavities.
There are also before-and-after photos of improved smiles, showing how teeth can be whitened with bleaching treatments or straightened with porcelain veneers.

Office Remodeling Project Wallach Dental has been at its Westport location since 1980 and has been redecorated every five years, but a three-year, total remodeling project recently was completed.
Patients will first notice the changes in the reception area, with new carpeting and furniture. The front office window has been replaced with a more welcoming, friendly open space.
Inside the office, the wallpaper, carpeting, ceilings, electrical wiring, dental equipment, and cabinets have all been replaced.
Patients will particularly notice the more comfortable chairs. "The equipment is more ergonomic, so it's easier to work with and more friendly to the patients," Dr. Marc Wallach said. The remodeled office can be viewed here.
The sterilization procedure also has been upgraded, with all instruments being sanitized in an instrument washer before being wrapped and sterilized.
Computers also have been upgraded to support a near paperless office, which is a long-range goal of most healthcare offices. The Dentrix software program stores all patient information, eliminating the need for hand-written charts.
Videos are now available for all patients receiving dental treatments. There is a collection of movies and comedy TV shows from which to choose. Patients view a flat screen TV on the ceiling while wearing wireless headphones.
If music is preferred, specific musical interests can be satisfied through a satellite music system.
