PRESIDENT'S MONTHLY NOTE

Susan Green

While considering my message for the brand new year, I came across this quote by Edith Lovejoy Pierce:

"We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day."

Ms. Pierce charges us figuratively, with the task of putting pen to paper. I hope you will quite literally, fill each chapter with purpose, gratitude, forgiveness, love, generosity, kindness and determination; making this New Year one you will recall fondly, many years from now.

Happy 2012!

Susan Engelhart
