PRESIDENT'S MONTHLY NOTE

Hello fellow MASWA members!

Well, March is here, winter jackets are being shed in favor of sweatshirts and spring jackets.  We are seeing the sun shining and the snow melting.  Many of us are planning our gardens, looking forward to seeing those early signs of spring...tulips, crocuses, robins.  I know I can't wait to get my hands dirty out planting in the garden.

Your residents and clients are probably looking forward to getting back out in the sun as well.  Feeling the warmth on their face, digging in your gardens, helping to plan and plant, just sitting and enjoying the sights and sounds of watching others work.

Spring brings for MASWA the Annual Meeting, the Spring Luncheon, where we will once again enjoy networking, a delicious lunch, a riveting speaker and elect the new board to serve you, our members.  It is at this time that I would encourage you to consider joining one of the many committees that MASWA has to offer.  It is a great way to get involved, network and help MASWA to be the vital organization that it is now.

For more information on our committees and the Spring Luncheon, check out our website: www.seniorworkers.org.

Happy Spring!
