| PRESIDENT'S MONTHLY NOTE |
|
|
Well, here we are in the heart of winter. I hope all of you that enjoy winter and all it brings with it are finding loads of time to get out and have some fun. I also hope those of you prefer warm and sunny are sitting in front of a warm fire with a good book.
Right now, your board is working hard on getting memberships renewed. If you have not renewed your membership, please do so soon so that you do not miss out on any of the benefits of membership. The membership dues this year are $20 for the year. As you know, MASWA provides opportunities for outstanding networking, referrals for your business, and is looking to do great things in the future. We have given to several charities the past three years in an effort to give back to the community we live and work in. We have made an impact on the lives of others with these donations and hope to do even more as our organization progresses and grows in the 21st century.
The Members at Large are also hard at work planning the 2010 Spring Luncheon. At the luncheon, we will be electing our new board members. I encourage you all to consider serving on the board. The positions descriptions can be found on the website, www.seniorworkers.org. If you are interested, contact any of the board members for consideration.
Stay warm!
Peace,
Loretta Stinson President |
