You will have a proven track record as an executive or non-executive at board level; a portfolio of high level governance and organisational skills; and proven ability to work in a team. Importantly, you will have the ability to make a well-informed contribution dispassionately and impartially, and to address high profile, complex and sensitive scientific issues in a way which balances the interests of different stakeholder groups and wider public feeling. In addition to these attributes, they are particularly keen to hear from you if you can demonstrate expertise in one of the following areas: medical, clinical or scientific experience; regulation; ethics; leadership in organisational and political change; policy development; patient or public engagement with the NHS; or financial management.Time commitment is approximately 3 days per month, and you will be entitled to receive �7,882 per annum for your contribution.
