Isn't the Holiday Season supposed to be fun?
Holiday Stress
The Top 6 causes of Holiday STRESS:
  • Pressure to spend too much $$$.
  • Family obligations
  • Time sensitive deadlines to reach & clients to please before the end of the year.
  • You want the holidays to be perfect
  • You're exhausted from shopping, planning and pleasing others.
  • Employees and Employers who have different view of the importance of the holidays.
Stress Less for Holiday Success!
6 Tips to make yours a truly Happy Holiday Season
  • Shop with a list and a budget for each person--don't go over your budget!
  • Prioritize and roll-over projects that don't have to get done before the new year. Focus on those that must get done right now and don't create unrealistic deadlines.
  • Only attend parties and events that you really want to and that you really have to.
  • Try to get enough sleep, exercise (shopping counts) and healthy food.
  • The media creates expectations that the holidays should be perfect. In reality, they are more likely to be fun (and not stressful) if you are realistic.
  • Drinking too much alcohol doesn't alleviate stress--especially at family gatherings--it makes you  more anxious and less able to cope.
