Fellow Suri Network Members,
Needless to say we are very excited about our upcoming USA Today advertising campaign! At this point all Suri Network members should have received information outlining our plans. Initial feedback has been terrific. Our message has been further enhanced by word of mouth discussions with many members sending emails to their fellow Suri breeders helping to promote our campaign.
We are asking all members of the Suri Network to view this as a team approach. A group effort supported by all members with equal benefits to every farm. The majority of questions received at this point revolve around " How do I participate and when?" The month of February is the kick off month. The cost is $100. The Suri Network will contribute an additional $25,000 to the money you send in with 100% of all dollars being used to pay for the USA Today ads that will begin in April. We are hoping for enough contributions to pay for four ads. We will keep all of you informed as to the success of our fund raising efforts. As Suri breeders we will all benefit from the millions of USA Today readers being exposed to Suri Alpacas, but the value added benefit is the lead program that you become eligible to purchase with your $100 contribution. As fulfillment pieces are mailed to inquiries, the lead database will be created. Remember this is an equal playing field effort with the number of fulfillment mailings (PurelySuri Magazine) being posted on the Suri Network website. Leads will cost $.21 cents each. We anticipate leads will begin to become available beginning in May.
Later in the summer we will assess the program and communicate with membership. If successful we may want to continue with the program into the fall months.
