Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!

As the holidays approach at lightening speed, don't forget to make arrangements for your pets and your home. If you are traveling with your animals by air, be sure to check the guidelines with your airline well in advance. Each airline has a slightly different handling method. All of them require proof of medical clearance by a vet to ensure that your pet can fly safely. If your travel takes you by car, it is a good idea to crate your pet for the long haul. Frequent stops for water, potty breaks and exercise are necessary. The American Humane Society has helpful travel tips on their website, too.
