Dear School of Ministry friend,
It's hard to believe the summer is already over! As fall classes start over the next few weeks (only a few more days to register!), the School of Ministry faculty are so excited to be Deacon Jack Gulino and 4th year CBS student, Paul Corcoran, recruit students at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Plano, TX.
 | back in the classrooms with our students. We have been busy out recruiting for the fall classes, hosting Introduction to the Bible Workshops and Information Sessions. Likewise, our staff have been busy making sure our new students understand the registration process and the various programs.
We have also been working hard preparing for the 2010 Ministry Conference, which is being held October 22-23, 2010 at the Dallas Convention Center. As early registration comes to a close, we are well on our way to reaching our attendance goals! If you haven't already registered, don't worry, you can continue to pre-register until October 8th. CBS Professor, Dr. Dorothy Jonaitis, O.P., announces the release of her audio series, entitled "Apocalyptic Literature."
| The School of Ministry is proud to annouce the release of the CD lecture series entitled "Apocalyptic Literature," brought to you by our own Sr. Dorothy Jonaitis, O.P., D. Min.
In this 24-lecture series, Sr. Jonaitis discusses why it is necessary to study apocalyptic literature and how we, as Catholics, need to approach scripture in order to read this literature correctly. She will then provide a solid understanding of apocalyptic literature by
analyzing texts from both the Old and New Testaments, giving particular
attention to the Book of Revelation.
