Dear School of Ministry friend,
I hope this email finds you in good health. This is a quick reminder about our first event of the year!
On Monday, February 1, 2010, we continue to bring our
SoM Seminar Series to the community. This event, termed "An Evening with Bishop Farrell," features a panel discussion on the Identity of a Catholic University. This panel discussion will focus on Bishop Farrell's commencement address given to the University of Dallas graduating class in May, 2009. Bishop Farrell's address was later published in the August edition of Catholic News Service Origins magazine under the title What Does It Mean To Be Catholic Enough?. The panelist will include, John Allen Jr., CNN Vatican correspondent, Dr. Marti Jewell, Professor of Theology at the School of Ministry, Dr. Marcy Brown Marsden, Professor and Chair of the Biology Department University of Dallas and Dr. Christopher Malloy, Acting Chair and Associate Professor of Theology, University of Dallas. Please join us at 7:30 p.m. in the Church of the Incarnation on the University of Dallas campus. A reception will immediately follow.
I hope to see all of you there!
Sincerely,
Brian Schmisek, Ph.D.
