University of Dallas School of Ministry Receives $5,000 Gift from Michael and Mary Terry Gift will help fund Escuela Bíblica Católica scholarships The University of Dallas School of Ministry has received a $5,000 gift from Mike and Mary Terry to help fund scholarships for Escuela Bíblica Católica, the Spanish-language version of the school's Catholic Biblical School. The Terrys made the gift in honor of Marianne Staubach, a second-year student in the Catholic Biblical School and recent recipient of the Catholic Foundation Award. "This gift not only recognizes the generosity and example of Marianne Staubach, but it also serves to assist our students with scholarship support," said Dr. Brian Schmisek, dean of the School of Ministry. "We are grateful to the Terrys for their vision and charity."
La Escuela Biblica Católica has been offered by the School of Ministry for the past three years. It is a four-year program of intensive study covering the entire Bible and is intended for adults who are willing to make a commitment to complete all course requirements for at least one year. The program is recommended for those wishing to meet the Lord in a deeper way through scripture. It is especially beneficial for religious education teachers, lectors, and leaders of Bible study groups

Catholic Biblical School coming to the Diocese of Shreveport The University of Dallas School of Ministry and the Greco Institute of the Diocese of Shreveport are working together to bring the highly successful Catholic Biblical School program to Louisiana. The Catholic Biblical School is a four year program of study covering every book of the Bible. It is intended for adults who want to deepen their knowledge of Scripture. The program addresses both the head and the heart with the goal of deepening both the student's knowledge of Sacred Scripture and the student's faith in God who is revealed there. It is especially beneficial for religious education teachers, lectors, leaders of Bible study groups and others involved in various ministries in the Church or community. Though it is a four-year study, students commit to the program one year at a time. For all of our First Year Biblical School Sites, click here
