On Ash Wednesday, the Rev. Rex McKee and the Rev. Margy Mattlin (both pictured) and the Rev. LeeAnne Watkins (taking this photo), stood for two hours on the corner of Grand and Victoria in St. Paul offering ashes and blessings to anyone requesting them, including people in cars stopped at the light. Ascension, Stillwater seeks Parish Nurse
Ascension has enjoyed a parish nurse program for over a year now and seeks to continue the program with a new parish nurse. Candidate must be an R.N. and either have or be willing to take the weeklong parish nurse training. Position is 10 hours a week including two Sundays. Diversity conference at Gustavus
"Building Bridges" is a student initiated, student led diversity conference dedicated to addressing today's pressing global and social issues. This year's conference, which will take place on March 13, is called "Immigration: Surviving the Land of Opportunity" and will focus on the two sides of immigration: the struggles immigrants face and the strength required to survive these struggles every day.
