Episcopal Community Services has moved into their new space at the garden level of the Episcopal Center. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and see their beautiful new offices. Also, welcome the building's new tenants, Indian Child Welfare Act Law Center (ICWA). ICWA is a non-profit, American Indian high quality legal services organization committed to providing legal representation to Indian families involved in child custody proceedings implicating the Indian Child Welfare Act.

As proclaimed by President Barack Obama, "The indigenous peoples of North America - the First Americans - have woven rich and diverse threads into the tapestry of our nation's heritage. During National Native American Heritage Month, we recognize their many accomplishments, contributions, and sacrifices, and we pay tribute to their participation in all aspects of American society." National Cathedral Tour
September 30 to October 3, 2010
The Rev. Richard Collman, MN Regional Chair for the Washington National Cathedral, invites people tour the National Cathedral in Washington D. C. Rev. Collman and his wife, Katherine, will escort the tour which will include Washington sites along with a pilgrimage and tour of the National Cathedral, Sunday morning Eucharist, and lunch at the Sayre House. Diocesan benefits participants: open enrollment is now underway
Open enrollment season has begun for the diocesan medical, dental, life, short-term disability insurance, and flex reimbursement plans. Deadline for enrollment or making changes is December 25th. Those enrolling in the insurance plans during open enrollment will become effective January 1, 2010. If you need applications or information please contact Phil Bukstein at 612-870-3313.
