Presiding Bishop's visit
Telling the story in photos
During her visit to the Diocese of Minnesota last weekend, the PB at holy apostlesPresiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, the Most Rev. Dr. Katharine Jefferts Schori visited with hundreds of Episcopalians who were eager to welcome her to our state. With a nod to that old saying, "a picture is worth a thousand words," a short slideshow of the Presiding Bishop's visit is now available on the homepage of the diocesan website. More pictures and stories will published by next Tuesday and in June a keepsake printed 'photo album' will be sent to all churches for distribution among members.
Bishop Search
Teams forming to visit 8 remaining candidates
submitted by the Rev. Neil Willard
Your Search Committee for the IX Bishop of Minnesota has started the process of checking references for the 8 remaining candidates and forming teams to visit each of them at her or his current ministry location. At the same time, these candidates have started the process of answering an on-line leadership assessment questionnaire. This is to assess their mental and emotional readiness for executive leadership. Please continue to pray for both the candidates and the committee members as we ask for the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Ministry Resources

Bishop Jelinek responded to the news with excitement, "I can think of no one more well prepared or with a stronger vision for leading EGR through this important time in our global history." Read more about Devon's appointment in a recent news story in Episcopal Life.
