short masthead
February 17, 2009
Almighty and eternal God, so draw our hearts to you, so guide our minds,
so fill our imaginations, so control our wills, that we may be wholly yours,
utterly dedicated unto you; and then use us, we pray, as you will,
and always to your glory and the welfare of your people;
through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Region 2 Gatherings Consolidated
If you are in Region 2, please plan to attend the February 28 MSN gathering at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Duluth, from 9:30 am to 12 pm. The second MSN gathering in Region 2 is canceled due to the fact that participants have indicated that the meeting on February 28 should be well attended and accessible to the majority of individuals in that area.

Bishop Search Update

Application Deadline Tomorrow
submitted by the Rev. Neil Willard
This week begins a new and exciting chapter in our search for the IX Bishop of Minnesota. After the application deadline of February 18, there will be no more additions to the initial pool of potential candidates. This obviously means that our next bishop will already be represented within the first group of applicants. The next step will be a meeting of your Bishop Search Committee on Saturday, February 28. The agenda for that meeting will include a review of applications and also interview training. Please keep the search process in your prayers.
