Most holy and gracious God,
In the abundance of your energy you have
created us,
In the abundance of your love you have made
us sisters and brothers
To share love, hope and material
blessings with each other.
Excerpted from Bishop Jelinek's invocation at today's JRLC Day on the Hill

Bishop Search Update
|
| Invite Potential Candidates to Apply via Website submitted by the Rev. Neil Willard Now that the month of
February has arrived, your participation in the search for the IX Bishop of Minnesota is more
important than ever. Members of the Bishop Search Committee have been
reaching out to gifted priests and bishops across the country to encourage them
to enter this process of mutual discernment. Perhaps someone who serves
alongside you in ministry in your congregation has also been doing this.
There's still time for you to join hands with them and invite a potential
candidate to take the first step on the journey that will lead to the election
of our next bishop in the fall. Point that person to our diocesan profile website and remind
him/her that applications will be received through February 18. Then
incorporate prayers for that person into your ongoing prayers for the Diocese
of Minnesota.
