One of the tools we've used with our children is Making Wise Choices Flashcard sets. We
start with 3 year olds and use these flashcards for up to 12 year olds.
They are simply illustrated, and on the front, ask a question, and give
the answer. On the back of the card is the Scripture reference to learn
and the verse as well. We go over one card at a time until the child
learns the verse, then go on to the next card, each day reviewing
previously learned verses. This set includes three different sets,
Proverbs Flashcards, Character Quality flashcards, and If/When
Flashcards.

If and When Flashcard Set asks your
child questions in areas where they will be tested and teaches them the
correct Biblical response. For example, "What do you do if you are
tempted to be afraid? What if you are tempted to be angry? and the
correct answer and accompanying Bible verse are on the back of the card.
Our older kids have attested that having been often drilled on these
verses helped them to make the right choices when later they were in the
place of temptation.
The applied verses served to prepare them in
advance for situations they would encounter in their everyday lives!!
