G4 PCLink header - reflected
Greetings!
Philip Photo
I am very excited about our new G4 PCLink.  Many of you will already be using it and thank you to those who have helped via suggestions and feedback, your enthusiasm has made this project very exciting and taken PCLink to a new level.

I had become so used to the "three part screen" that has been the foundation of PCLink for the last decade I must admit that I took a lot of convincing that the new "dynamic" layout would be an advantage.  Tuners feedback has proven my fears unfounded.

Now is an ideal time to hide in the office, watch the video, read the help files and get to grips with G4 PCLink. Make a particular effort to understand and use the new logging. Having the ability to log and tune within the same programme is a major advantage and will speed your tuning process.

Sincerely,

Simon's Tip
Simon
Hi, a few pointers based on questions that I am commonly asked.
  • Many people are not aware that PCLink can be almost entirely keyboard driven. You can find all the keyboard shortcuts through the Help menu. If you click on Help at the top of the screen and then click Keyboard Shortcuts. This will display the correct section of the help file.
  • The most often used short cut for me is the F12 key. This displays all runtime values and is extremely helpful in finding many configuration issues.
  • Another often used one is the Esc key. This brings the ECU settings panel out.
Once key board shortcuts are mastered it is extremely quick to navigate PCLink.

Don't hesitate to contact me for further help by email, or directly

Cheers
