Ghana is a coastal country in West Africa with regions of dense rainforest, dry savannah and grassy plains. Once a British colony, Ghana is known for its thriving tribal culture, rich exports of gold and cocoa, and beautiful terrain. Unfortunately, even with its amazing landscape and culture the nation still relies heavily on international aid to meet the basic needs to some of its poorest citizens.

Meet Eden, a senior at Kansas State University and World Endeavors alum who studied abroad in Spain in spring 2009!
Eden spent her semester living and studying in the exotic, Moorish-influenced city of Seville, in Spain's Andalucia region. She spent her free time practicing Spanish with her host family, seeing Flamenco dancing, and traveling to more European cities than we can count!
