Thailand has captured the imagination of travelers around the world, and it's little surprise. This Southeast Asian country is home not only to the bustling and dynamic city of Bangkok, but also to postcard-perfect beaches, vibrant temples, saffron-robed monks, and ancient hill tribe villages. Top this off with warm Thai hospitality (and some of the best food in the world, we think!), and you've got a great place to study, volunteer or intern.
Here are some fast facts about Thailand: Population: 66,000,000 Language: Thai, though English is commonly spoken in most cities. Religion: 94% Buddhist How to say hello: For women, "Sawatdee Kaa," and for men, "Sawatdee Khrab" Traveling: Bangkok is a hub for several budget airlines, making travel around Thailand and the rest of Asia cheaper than a tank of gas!
World Endeavors offers two study abroad programs as well as internship and volunteer programs in and around Bangkok.
For more information, please look over our programs in Thailand.

VIDEO BLOGS - SEEING IS BELIEVING
Perhaps you have considered studying, interning, or volunteering abroad but it's still hard to imagine what an international experience is actually like. World Endeavors would like to demystify the whole experience by offering a glimpse into the lives of some of our participants who are currently abroad. Through a series of video blogs, individuals talk about their experiences and share the highlights of their projects. You can find these video blogs here. Check back frequently for new blogs and updated content.
Also, don't forget to take a look at the World Endeavors YouTube videos highlighting our programs. They just might be the inspiration you need to start taking action!

THAILAND CONTEST SCHOLARSHIP WINNER ANNOUNCED
World Endeavors is pleased to announce that the recipient of our Volunteer in Thailand four week full scholarship is Tom Mitchell, a student of the University of Minnesota. Tom was selected after a month-long competition hosted by Justmeans, an online social philanthropy network. The competition required the 100+ competitors to write a 200 word essay answering a question related to social philanthropy and then gather votes and comments supporting the idea. As a World Endeavors volunteer in Wat Tan, Thailand this summer, Tom will have the chance to assist in teaching children during English class at the local village school. We're confident that this busy student majoring in Human Resource Development, Youth Studies, and Educational Psychology along with a minor in Chinese, will jump into his new role with great energy. Congrats again Tom! _______________________________________
