Greetings!
Things continue to move forward quickly for TBB with an exciting weekend in Cleveland and this fall's student group nearly finalized. As part of the application process, TBB students describe a significant inter-cultural experience and its impact on them. This month, TBB student John Kline has allowed us to share his thoughtful response with you, as well.

Living in Bermuda By TBB Student John Kline
In 1999, I moved to the United States. I had been living in Bermuda since 1993, so all the childhood experiences I could remember had taken place in Bermuda. While Bermuda is a British territory, its culture is distinctly its own. The school I attended, Saltus Cavendish, was fairly British, for the main sports were soccer, cricket, and rugby, and we celebrated the Queen's birthday. TBB Presents at International Conference on Student Travel
TBB was invited to attend Experiment in International Living's annual General Assembly, held earlier this month in Cape Town, South Africa. The invitation was an honor as EIL is a founding organization in student travel abroad programs. Robin attended this year's conference as an Observer and was asked to sit on a panel exploring international volunteering and educational programs. For TBB this was a great learning opportunity and a chance to meet people from around the world in the industry.

So, as usual, it's been a busy month for TBB.
Thanks to Greg and Karen Stakich for all their hospitality this weekend.
Congratulations to everyone who beat their PRs this weekend, ran their first marathon, or challenged themselves and met their goal!
Sincerely,
Sandy Pendoley
