After a customer asked if I was intending to check in to The Betty Ford Clinic Neil managed to find this picture of me in the Fairmont Banff Springs without a glass of wine in my hand {it was on the table actually, Neil}
What's Been Going On??
 MM: flying @ the beach    We've had a busy summer, spent a few days in Bayfield where youngest daughter Margaret {seen left} proved that as a dancer she can certainly fly and last week we visited Calgary visited my Geologist wine-drinking brother Greg & family & first night there caught a Judy & Lenniemiraculous small-club performance by PEI's Lennie Gallant. Lennie, as always, had his eyes closed but man did he & his band ever 'smoke' in Calgary. Thank you Lennie!

    This Monday we celebrate the 21st birthday of daughter Anne. Where have those years gone? You can see Anne most days walking her {now} TWO dogs around Stratford, (no Boom is not a horse, just a very large Great Dane), or pulling pints behind the bar at the always busy Molly Bloom's Irish Pub on Brunswick St.

    Anne's sister Margaret is still at school part time but also working daily at the newest healthy food spot in town, Alpha Beet Soup & Juice Bar on Erie Street, where the fare includes excellent fresh juices, amazing soups, yummy wraps & salads, and decadent muffins all  served with cheery smiles and upbeat music. No wine yet I've mentioned now & again ....

    Oldest daughter Flora snuck in from Toronto for a quick over-nighter with us in Stratford. She loves her fashion designer assistant's job at Ewanika {pron. Eev-a-neek-a} on Bathurst St. @ Dupont where hand-made, flawlessly designed, quality clothing, gorgeous fabrics & understated quietly elegant clothing for women are the norm. As Zoomer Magazine just wrote: If you love Prada check out EwanikaVisit Ewanika   Judy loves the clothing & I wish there were men's clothes so I had a fighting chance at the credit cards.

   Just in: A devastating fire this morning in Toronto just 2 doors away from Ewanika miraculously left the brand new boutique & all the fashions & fabrics untouched. Whew!!

   Lots of installation work is piling up at Music so, if a new stereo or flat-panel TV is on youNeil, Calgaryr horizon {42" Plasma TVs, once $20,000 are now under $900!} let's talk sooner than later so we can book time to see that, at your house, everything is installed, hooked-up & explained professionally & on time.

Cheers
Neil
