New Canadian CDs
|
· Joni Mitchell ~ Shine (Roots)
Luminous, everything you'd expect after waiting nine years for
another round of brilliant new songs for listening to and thinking
about. Even Neil loves it..
· Sophie Milman, ~ Make Someone Happy (Jazz Vocal) Sexy, sultry, cuddle up with someone you love on a cold November evening. {Neil would actually like to cuddle up with her}
· Justin Hines ~ Sides (Roots)
Sensitive songwriting combined with a compelling voice and catchy tunes. We can't play this CD in the store without selling a copy or two. Excellent CD.
· Mark Fletcher ~ The Unbroken Line (Roots)
St Marys multi-talented artist wrote most of the tunes, played
most of the instruments, {pipes, whistles, flutes, guitars,
bodhrans} & turned out a charm-filled CD of traditional-feeling
instrumental music.
· Matt Brubeck & David Braid ~ Twotet/Deuxtet (Jazz) A unique combo of jazz cello and piano, original, melodic and accessible tunes, and two wildly talented artists who obviously enjoy playing together.
