10th Annual Lincoln Arts Festival a Success!

Lincoln Arts Festival Panorama

Thanks to the dedicated group of Lincoln Arts Festival volunteers and staff our 10th annual Lincoln Arts Festival was memorable and fun.  This year was full of positive comments about the beauty and variety of the art for sale, the terrific interactive art area for kids and lively entertainment daily.
2010 Lincoln Arts Festival Sponsors
We hope that you will show your support by frequenting and acknowledging our generous sponsors: Performance Toyota of Lincoln, Great Western Bank and AmeritasNebraska Heart Institute sponsored our ever growing Patron Sponsor Program with great success.  The Kinder Porter Scott Family Foundation, Sandhills Publishing and Shopko Foundation made the Children's Art Area a reality. Helping to bring live entertainment daily, please thank the Berman Music Foundation, Sutton Ryan Aesthetics, Target, Amtrak and the Holiday Inn & Suites, Downtown Chicago

This year's winner of the two Round Trip Tickets by Amtrak to Chicago and two free nights at the Holiday Inn was lucky Barb Burback.  "I never win anything!" she exclaimed.  Now you have Barb!  We wish you a happy trip and thanks for supporting the arts.

Through rain and wind and beautiful sunshine we wish to sincerely thank all of you that made it to the Lincoln Arts Festival and we hope you went home with fond memories and a beautiful addition to your art collection.

NEW Roundtable Series for Artists and Organizations

Artist RoundtableThe Lincoln Arts Council invites arts organizations and artists to participate in a new roundtable series designed to promote capacity building and networking in the Lincoln arts community. The first session will be held on October 12 at 3:30 pm in room 104 of the Temple Building on UNL city campus.

The goal of the first meeting is to brainstorm issues and topics for future roundtables and to network with other people in the Lincoln arts community you may not have met before. Participants are encouraged to come with ideas for topics they would like addressed in future meetings.

Everyone is welcome!  We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to help our arts community thrive by learning and growing from each other. Together, we are stronger!
