Special Opportunity for Art Lovers!
Lincoln's premier art buying event, the Lincoln Arts Festival, brings together local and national artists and 15,000 art lovers. This year's Producing
Sponsor is Performance Toyota of Lincoln, and will be co-sponsored by Ameritas Life Insurance Corp.and Great Western Bank. An elite group of art lovers will spend $125 to become Patron Sponsors of this event. Their investment will come back to them in $100 worth of certificates to buy art at the festival, a catered breakfast with their fellow Patrons, and entrance in a raffle for great works of art. The Patron Program is sponsored by the Nebraska Heart Institute. More importantly, their investment will support the work of the Lincoln Arts Council in its efforts to keep the arts a vital and visible benefit to Lincoln. If you'd like to join this group of very special art lovers, call Doug Smith at 434-2787 or email doug@artscene.org. |
Call for Volunteers!
On September 25th and 26th, some 95 visiting artists and 15,000 art patrons will come together for the Lincoln Arts Festival on the grounds of SouthPointe Pavilions shopping center. Live music, food and buyable art make this juried art fair a celebration for all the senses. About 100 volunteers who love art and the excitement and energy of a great event will help The Lincoln Arts Council manage the festival. We'd love it if you joined us. Volunteers are needed Friday to help set up tents, tables and chairs, Saturday and Sunday for artist services and patron care, and artist load-in and load-out. Tent removal and clean up will happen Sunday evening. If you like the idea of being a part of the backstage crew at a large and deliciously fun event, call Doug at 434-2787 or email doug@artscene.org and we'll find a place for you. |
