The
Angels Theatre Company isn't the first theatre group to "put on a play" in
Barry's Bar & Grill Outback, 9th & Q Streets in Lincoln. Lincoln folks
like to report on the time they saw a play in the Outback back in the 80's.
That said - the Angels Theatre Company isn't the first, but they are the
present!
The
Angels are producing Sam Shepard's remarkable play "True West" August 12 - 22, 2009 (every night) at 8 PM -
with an added 11 PM performance on Friday August 21. "True West" is the story of two
very different brothers who both want to sell their story to a Hollywood
agent. The grown boys are camped out at
Mom's house while she is traveling and all hell breaks loose when the games they played as boys escalate into real
life. More...
