We need you...
To take 5 minutes to write Mayor Beutler in a show of support for the Lincoln Arts Council.  LAC is in jeopardy of losing city funding. It's time to let the leaders of our city know why the arts, in partnership with the Lincoln Arts Council, are a vital part of our community!

Economically
The arts and cultural tourism generate $36 million dollars annually in Lincoln.

Culturally 
The LAC promotes diversity, highlighting artwork of many cultures and enhancing quality of life.

A strong arts community helps business leaders in recruitment and retention, making Lincoln a desirable place to live.

Educationally
Numerous opportunities are provided to children with the assistance of the LAC.  We connect artists to Community Learning Centers and work as a support team for existing and emerging artists.

Environmentally 
Hand in hand, the LAC works with artists to bring attention to the aesthetic quality of life in Lincoln by showcasing the  natural environment and cultivating an appreciation for the area.
