It is time for all Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ members to assemble for the 2008 Annual Meeting videoconference.  This e-mail contains important information you will find useful in preparation for the meeting, including:

Voting Procedures
An excerpt from the GSCSNJ Bylaws

a. Each member present in person shall be entitled to one vote. Elections shall be by ballot in contested elections and may be by voice or other means in uncontested elections. A plurality of votes cast shall elect. A majority vote of the voting members present and voting, unless otherwise provided by law or these Bylaws, or parliamentary authority shall determine all other matters.

 
b. Nominations may be made from the floor at the Council Meeting, provided the nominator has (1) ascertained the eligibility of the individual so nominated as defined by these Bylaws; (2) obtained the nominee's written consent; and (3) submitted the nomination to the Chair of the Board Development Committee no less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the Council Meeting.

**Credentials Verification Note**
If you have a current GSUSA issued membership card, please bring it with you to the annual meeting.
Otherwise, bring another form of identification.
 
ID's will be checked upon entry to the Annual Meeting sites and used to verify voting eligibility.
