KSUT supports "Music in the Mountains Goes to School" program
KSUT sponsored an instrument round-up event at Hanson Honda in Farmington on July 16 to benefit the "Music in the
Mountains Goes to School Program". Donors were invited to drop off their gently-used instruments for participating students. The event brought in an oboe, clarinet, violin, saxophone, tuba and partial drum set, all in just one day.
If you missed that opportunity, Music in the Mountains accepts instrument donations year round at their Durango office at 1063 Main Avenue.
Bruce Campbell talks with Anne Beach, Education and Programs Manager for Music in the Mountains at Hanson Honda. Their discussion was broadcast live on KSUT as part of a day of programming featuring the festival.
