At the 2010 business meeting, YOU the membership asked TAOP to contract with a legislative watchdog group to better protect the O&P profession in Texas. YOU also agreed that membership supported a $20/month or $240 annual pledge to facilitate payment for this value added service.   

We reminded you all about this commitment via the Bending Iron dated August 2011.  To date, we have received only 5 such payments. If YOU have not met your commitment, the time to do so is NOW.

If we do not receive your payment, we will not be able to offer this very important service in coming years.  Our legislative advocate, Snapper Carr of Focused Advocacy, will be present at the April meeting to provide an update on these and other issues facing O&P so if you have any questions or concerns you need to attend the April meeting. Registration will be available beginning February 1st.
