Commissioned Ruling Elder Continuing Education Offered by the Synod of Lincoln Trails
The Synod of Lincoln Trails is offering continued education to commissioned ruling elders. The Rev. Dr. Laura Reason, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Highland, Ind. will lead participants through the sacred seasons of the luturgical year. Dr. Reason is a eight-time teacher of preaching and worship leadership to Synod of Lincoln Trails ruling elders.

Congregational Cultures of Generosity and Congregations Under Water
The two items mentioned in the title of the article are linked by the Lake Institute on Faith and Giving of the School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. The General Assembly Mission Council is partnering with the Lake Institue and interested presbyteries to provide training and support for congregations to Create Congregational Cultures of Generosity. Grace Presbytery and Genesee Valley Presbytery have started the program and several others are considering the program. Interested?
