Summer Collegium
The Summer Collegium is an ecumenical project fully funded through the Lilly Endowment and seeks to offer encouragement, education, refreshment and renewal to 25 small-church pastors each year. The dates of the Summer Collegium are June 23-July 1, 2010. Single clergy and locally ordained persons are welcome to apply. This year's keynoter is the Rev. Dr. Alice Mann, and music will be led by John Bell of the Iona Community in Scotland. More information...

Synod CLP Training Program Deadline Extended to November 20
This two-year training program is for individuals seeking
to expand their service to the church and become commissioned lay
pastors.
The next series of classes begins in January 2010. Classes consist
of 12 contact hours each and are offered on twelve weekends during the two-year period. Candidates must be endorsed by their presbyteries to participate.

Great Rivers Adjunct Staff Position: Stewards of Energy and the Environment
Great Rivers Presbytery is looking for a person to serve in a very part-time role to help its congregations think about energy conservation, use of new technologies and other efforts toward being good stewards of the earth's resources.
The job will involved research into energy issues as well as investigating possible grants that may be available to churches. It will also involve the interpretation of the information to the congregations of Great Rivers. The contract will initially be for one year.  Middle school students in the Synod of Lincoln Trails are invited to Spring Into Faith on March 12-13, 2010 at Knox Presbyterian Church, Naperville, Ill. College Scholarships Available
The National Presbyterian College Scholarship Program (NPCS), administered through Financial Aid for Studies, a ministry of the PC(USA) Office of Vocation, offers need-based scholarship assistance to full-time students entering their first year of college at one of the participating colleges related to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Applicants must be confirmed members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and carry a 3.0 cumulative grade point average from high school.
