Mission to a Post-Christian World
Blackhawk and Chicago presbyteries will present Congregational Transformation for Mission to a Post-Christian World
October 24-25 at River Glen Presbyterian Church in Naperville, Ill.
Craig Van Gelder, professor of congregational mission at Luther
Seminary, will be the keynote speaker. Workshops are organized into
four tracks: Church Transformation, Unique Contextual Opportunities and Challenges, New Church Development and Spiritual Renewal. Registration is $35 for members of Blackhawk and Chicago presbyteries and $65 for others. For more information, download a conference brochure and registration form.

Interim Executive Training Oct. 31 through Nov. 3, St. Louis
The Synod of Lincoln Trails and the Synod of Mid-America will offer interim executive training again this fall. Training sessions will include 20 hours of instruction.

Bread for the World Newsletter Offers Hunger Resources
PC(USA) anti-hunger partner Bread for the World has launched a new email newsletter geared to pastors and church leaders on the move.
Each monthly edition of "Bread for the Preacher," which is being called "a free service for busy pastors," features preaching aids and worship resources surrounding issues of hunger and poverty.

Association Honors S. Kim Leech
Oops. We recently reported that Synod Stated Clerk S. Kim Leech received the Jenkins Constitutional Services Award. That award is granted by the Association of Stated Clerks. The award was incorrectly attributed to McCormick Seminary.
