We hope you have been enjoying the Spring. It has been great growing weather especially for those cool weather crops.
We have started to harvest several different kinds of lettuce, a beautiful salad mix, garlic scapes, delicious Japanese turnips and spicy radishes. Not to far away are beet greens, summer squash, zucchini, broccoli, Chinese cabbage and bok choy. Look for raspberries at the end of the month.

Next week we will be selling local strawberries in the farm stand. Remember the season is short so get them while you can.

- Today, I will be one of the guests on WBUR 90.9 from 1:00-2:00p.m.. We will be talking about the move toward local food and local farms and I hope to hear from some of you out there. Stay Tuned
- "Edible Wild Plants of the Northeast", a nature walk with naturalist John Root, will be offered on Saturday, June 13 at 3:00 PM at THE FARM. Wild food samples will be offered, and pamphlets will be distributed to participants. Free, all ages welcome. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Millis Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
This should be great fun for people of all ages. You do not need to R.S.V.P. just show up. The weather is supposed to be fantastic.
- On Monday, June 15th from 1:00-4:00p.m.Terri Lawton a dairy farmer from Foxboro will be here at the farm with one of her cows. This is a chance for the kids to get up front and personal with where their milk comes from. Terri will be there to answer your questions about cow and her raw milk program. Milk samples will be available.
- And the "Rt. 109 Show", in which the farm appears will air on Chronicle at 7:00p.m. on Channel 5 June17.
