You Mean I Can Appraise My Horse?
You betcha, Red Rider!
Horses are personal property ,they are mobile... not attached to the land...and they can be owned, that is bought, sold and INSURED.
Horses are insured according the work they do...and, yes, "back yard" horses have a job, too....are they show horses, work horses, brood mares, stallions, back yard horses? Each of those horses has a "job" and what that job is and how well each one does it establishes a value, not your buddy's value to you, his monetary value. Show horses and work horses are obvious, brood mares are judged by how well their foals do, stallions the same. Back yard horses, well, is that pony great on the trail, gets on with other horses, dogs, children, riders, never breaks his fence...or jumps over it, doesn't step on, bite or kick the local ankle biters when they come to visit. That horse has value, he's "Bomb Proof".
You insure your truck, trailer, tack, barn, show clothes, now go insure your "friend" he deserves it. Especially if you're on the road at all. Artist Donates 20% to SPCA
Catherine Girard , who is especially well known for her wildlife art, will be donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of her art for our show. In 2003, she received the Arts for the Parks Mini 50 Paintings Award for Excellence from the prestigious National Park Academy of the Arts in Jackson, Wyoming (fifty were chosen from over 900 entries). This is a wonderful opportunity for you to acquire art that would be destined as a family heirloom and give to the community. |
New Artists on Our Website
Some of the very first paintings that man ever created were of the animals that he saw. We have recently acquired a selection of art actually created from the 16th to the 19th centuries and you can now see them on our website. All of these works of art would qualify for the SPCA show.
