| Dear Friend:
Thank you for all you have done to support HHRF!
In order for us to keep supporting the kind of research we do, we need to ask you to continue to support us! While monetary support is most appreciated, please consider these other options to help us continue to grow:
- Volunteer your facility/site for an HHRF awareness reception. Representatives from our board and staff will come to you.
- Recommend your area's community leaders interested in seeing EAA research flourish.
- Help identify collaborating associations and foundations that might join with us in research sponsorship.
- Encourage EAA associates to make individual donations to our research fund.
- Create an HHRF link on your website using a down-loadable logo from our site to help expand awareness of our research mission.
- Make HHRF's competitive research programs a priority of your program budget.
If you can help us in any of the listed areas, or if you have ideas of you own, please call (440) 543-8306 or send an email to info@horsesandhumans.org.
Thank you!

New England Information Sessions an Overwhelming Success
HHRF board, staff and advisory members toured New England in August, with Information Session stops at Green Chimneys in Putnam County, New York and High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Center in Old Lyme, Connecticut.
About 50 people attended each session. The host facilities were both big draws and the tours given by each organization gave purpose to supporters and stakeholders.
HHRF representatives reviewed the progress of the foundation's most recent research activities and provided information on how people can get involved with and/or assist HHRF.
Special thanks to the wonderful host sites for their outstanding efforts in organizing these events.

84% of Americans say they are likely to switch brands, when price and quality are equal, to help support a cause. More than 7 out of 10 Americans (75%) say a company's commitment to causes is important when they decide which products and services to recommend to others, according to a recent Cone Corporate Citizenship study.
The same study concludes that employees whose companies support social issues are 40% more likely to say they are proud of their company's values and nearly 25% more likely to be loyal to their employers than those whose companies do not have such programs.

The primary goal is to support, promote and fund scientific research that explores the claimed, yet unsubstantiated benefits of equine assisted activities and therapies, leading to the discovery of the most effective methods and techniques for conducting thousands of existing and future programs.
The secondary goal is to educate the public (including parents, donors, insurance companies and physicians) on research findings so that equine assisted activities become more accessible to those in need.
We need your support to continue funding the highest quality research possible. Please consider making a donation to HHRF today. The generous matching gift opportunity is still in place, so every dollar donated is worth double that amount! | |
