Silicon Valley Open Studios: Beginning this weekend, Silicon Valley Open Studios allows the public to visit Peninsula and South Bay Art Studios for free! During the first three weekends in May, 350 of Silicon Valley artists invite members of the community to experience a wide variety of different artistic media in their studios. 3 Silent Film Evenings in San Jose: Composer/pianist Robert Bruce presents 3 Live Music/Silent Film programs at Trinity Cathedral 81 N. 2nd Street in San Jose, CA May 17, 18 and 19, 2012. Films include:

- FW Murnau's 1926 silent masterpiece "Faust"
