 Pinterest 101: What It Is and How To Use It - As with most social media sites, the point of Pinterest is to share things you like with your "friends." Upload pictures and videos, and "pin" them to a virtual pin board. There are thousands and thousands of really beautiful pictures, ranging from scenery to cool inventions and twists on favorite themes. (A picture hanger made from a fishing pole? You bet!). What makes Pinterest fun and easy to use is that you can arrange pictures you like (and pictures you post) onto themed boards.
