 Are you an artist in the San Francisco Bay Area? Have you registered for Silicon Valley Open Studios (SVOS) this May? The organization's 25th anniversary is coming up, and it's going to be BIG. You will definitely want to be a part of it. If you know any artists in the area, would you make sure they know about and register for the event? Registration closes January 15, so don't wait to sign up!
SVOS is an annual event that allows the public to visit Peninsula and South Bay Art Studios for free. During the first three weekends in May, over 300 Silicon Valley artists invite members of the community to experience a wide variety of different artistic media in their studios.
Participating artists, including professionals, amateurs and students, work in a variety of fields, such as painting, mixed media, photography, sculpture, jewelry, calligraphy, ceramics, fiber arts, pottery, mosaics, metal work, glass, drawing, printmaking, watercolor, woodworking and more.

Happy New Year! Did you make resolutions this year? Erika and I were inspired by Rozenhart Family Chiropractic's recent coverage and made a couple of our own resolutions. Erika's goal is to walk for a half an hour at least three days per week. Emily's is to either row or use her Wii Fit at least five times per week.
