Set sail on the Corryvreckan
Extra Date Just Announced!

Our new trip, Sailing & Walking in the Inner Hebrides, has proved so popular that we have added an extra date! The new trip runs
15-21 August. We also have 1 place available on both the May and September dates.

This trip strikes the perfect balance between walking and sailing. Arriving at rarely-visited islands, you will enjoy easy guided walks on shore, allowing you to be blown away by the dramatic coastal landscapes both on land and at sea.

On board, you will relax in comfort as Corryvreckan, a 65-foot ketch-rigged yacht, was designed for exploring the Inner Hebrides in exactly this style. Join us this summer for a memorable Hebridean adventure!

Something a bit different:
Wilderness Walking Knoydart
The Knoydart peninsula, located in the West Highlands, can only be accessed by boat so our itinerary here involves lots of boat trips. This is a great way to start the day - we often spot dolphins or other marine wildlife before we even start hiking!

Once dropped off, we enjoy superb walks - exploring remote coastlines, climbing the high peaks or traversing the peninsula via one of its mountain passes. As well as Knoydart, we often visit the Small Isles and Loch Coruisk on Skye.
Our boat in Knoydart

This year Knoydart is celebrating its 10th anniversary since the local community took
ownership of the peninsula so it is a great time to visit. We have trips running to Knoydart in June, July & August. Please click here for details & to read the itinerary.

An Island Odyssey in the Hebrides

Sailing Eda Frandsen Our extraordinary Island Odyssey Sailing & Walking holiday takes you on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through the Inner and Outer Hebrides, with the ultimate goal of reaching the archipelago of St Kilda. You'll sail on board the  yacht Eda Frandsen, a magnificent traditional gaff cutter, which has been lovingly restored and is one of the most charismatic yachts in Scotland.

St Kilda is a destination like no other.  Home to unparalleled birdlife and some of the most incredible scenery in the world it is easy to see why it holds dual status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site - recognising both its cultural significance as well as its natural wonder.  Few sites in the world hold this status - St Kilda is joined only by destinations such as Machu Picchu in Peru! While reaching St. Kilda can never be guaranteed, you will definitely experience many memorable moments both on land and at sea on this incredible trip.

Of course, it is not all about St Kilda. On route through the Hebrides, you will enjoy guided walks on several islands - some of which are completely deserted apart from the vast array of wildlife which inhabits them.  The marine wildlife is another highlight and you may enjoy sightings of whales and dolphins.

This year, our Island Odyssey trip runs from 8-17 August. There are currently just 4 places still available. To read the full itinerary, please click here.

As well as the Island Odyssey trip, we also offer several Sailing Journeys aboard Eda Frandsen. These trips focus on sailing and have no walking guide on board. These trips are open to individuals to join, with trips running for 4, 7 or 10 days.
