Sea Kayaking Adventures in Spring
Our ever-popular Introduction to Sea Kayaking course is
a gentle 5 day trip based around beautiful
Upper Loch Torridon in the North West Highlands.
Aimed at beginners and with accommodation in a superb private hostel, you will learn essential sea kayaking skills, while enjoying superb day trips on the many sea lochs in this area. By the end of the short break, you will be ready for the next trip - and we know that you will be keen to come back for more!
So what are the options for those of you who know how to wield a paddle? The next step up is to our moderate graded trips which include the stunning Sound of Arisaig and the sublime
Summer Isles. Both trips are 6
day expeditions which explore a myriad of
white sandy beaches, deserted islands, echoing
sea caves and tiny islands that are home to a spectacular array of wildlife
including seals, otters, porpoises and even minke whales and basking
sharks. Each night, we wild camp, relaxing under the stars and taking in the
tranquillity of a beautiful archipelago. For more advanced kayakers, we also offer trips which explore the Isle of Skye, including a trip to its neighbouring islands of Rona & Raasay, and a trip to Southern Skye and the Cuillins. To view our full range of sea kayaking trips and courses in Scotland, please click here.______________________________________________________

Sea Kayaking on the Katmai
Coast, Alaska
After taking several private groups to explore Alaska by sea kayak over the past few years, we are delighted to offer our first small group trips to the Katmai National Park this summer. We currently have places available on the trip which runs 12-23 August - and this trip has already reached minimum numbers so will definitely go ahead. There truly is no better way to explore Alaska's wild and wonderful Katmai coast than by sea kayak.
And despite its remote setting, this trip is a realistic goal for anyone who has progressed beyond novice status. We are asking for 7 days previous experience of sea kayaking, preferably on multi-day expeditions. This means that if you have completed any of our sea kayaking holidays in Scotland beyond our Introduction course, this incredible trip is open to you! You will journey along the rugged beaches and shorelines around
the Katmai National Park. This pristine wilderness is home to the
richest marine life in the Pacific including whales and porpoises, many migratory
birds and last but not least - the grizzly bear! With such outstanding natural beauty and diverse wildlife, a trip to the Katmai National Park will be an experience you will always treasure. Join us this summer for the trip of a lifetime! To read the full itinerary, please click here.PS - We are also running several sea kayak trips to Greenland this summer. Our Head Guide, Myles Farnbank, will accompany the trip which runs 13-29 August. Click here for details!
