A new year brings new promise, new beginnings and new
adventures. Many of us make resolutions at this time - to get out into the
wilderness more often, to go somewhere on our 'must-visit' list or simply to
spend more time doing the things we enjoy.
After a couple of weeks back at work, however, it is easy to let these resolutions slide and put them off until later. Don't let that happen to you this year! Now is the perfect time to book your next adventure, whether that is trekking in South America, a safari in Africa or even a sea kayaking expedition to Greenland. Please read this newsletter and visit our website for some inspirational ideas. If you have any questions about our trips, please contact us by email or by calling 0131 625 6635 - we are here to help! __________________________________________________________

Destination Focus: Peru - Land of the Incas
Peru
is a destination bursting with spectacular 'must see' sights - the
lost cities of Machu Picchu and Choquequirao, the striking mountains of the Andes, beautiful Lake Titicaca and, of course, the contrasting sights and sounds of the Amazon rainforest. Combine that with its fascinating Inca history and the many tribes that make up its population today, Peru is truly a country that holds something for everyone.
There is a lot more to Peru than the Inca Trail and our selection of small group adventures include wilderness trekking, mountain biking and multi-activity holidays where you will experience a variety of landscapes and activities. We also offer itineraries which we have created specifically for families. Of course, we do offer treks along the Inca Trail but you must book early as a strict system of permits is in place and it is a case of 'first come, first served!
If you are considering a trip to South America, Peru provides a wonderful experience. May through to October is a good time to visit Peru so start planning now to ensure that you can also get a good deal on flights. New Sea Kayaking Trips Launched
Sea Kayaking is a wonderful way to experience the wilderness and explore wild places. Paddling along coastlines and visiting small islands is a great way to discover a country and is also an excellent way to view wildlife. Having run trips in Scotland, Norway and Alaska for the past few years, we are delighted to announce a raft of new sea kayaking trips for 2009!
Our new destinations include warm water paddling trips to the Italian island of Sardinia, to Lake Malawi (pictured) and to the magnificent Galapagos Islands. For more hardened sea kayakers, our expedition to Greenland is an un-missable experience. Please click on the links above to read the itineraries and feel free to call us on 0131 625 6635 if you have any questions or to reserve your place.
